What We Do.

The other day Owen got to go to his first movie with mommy, papa, and aunt wexy!  We went and saw Larry Crowne, which was OK. Owen did great in the movie, I brought my Boppy along to make nursing easier and comfier in the dark theater. He didn't cry, just ate and slept :) We went and got some dinner after at Lucille's it was delicious. That is probably one of my favorite places to chow down. so YUMMY. We had a wonderful time with Papa. It is always nice to get out and spend some time with my dad. We really do have so much fun together laughing, talking and jokin around!

Jeff and I also got out on a little date to Tom's Farm. It was so fun to walk around and look at all of the dreamy furniture! We love dreaming up all the things we want in our home one day! We had some dinner and then walked over to the farmers market where they sell a slew of old fashioned Root Beer and nostalgic candy! We picked a Root and grabbed a cow tail and indulged! It was SO fun! I think we might make it a usual thing and try out a new root beer every time! Owen just hung out in the Ergo! He loves that thing!

Owen got a bath in the sink the other day, my back was hurting and I opted to not lean over the tub :/

He loved it! Look at how cute he is with his bubbles! He actually enjoys the bath tub now, soakin in the water, he always tries to eat the wash cloth when I clean his face. silly guy!

Owen also got his first round of shots. :(

It was sad when they poked him, but he did so good! He only cried a little and once I picked him up he stopped and fell right asleep. He did get a slight fever later that night, but everything was all gone the next day. I would say he was one good trooper! He also got weighed at the doctor coming in at a whopping 14 pounds!!! he is in the 90th percentile for weight! my guy loves to eat!!

Aunt Seana turned 19 and we made it out to her birthday dinner at Yard House. Babes first time in a bar... hahahaha! It was fun to be able to see seana on her birthday she is quite the busy girl so we were glad to be able to celebrate with her!

We left Owen for the first time with Grandma the other day just for 2 hours so we could run some errands. It was really strange going out without our little bean. I checked in every 15 minutes to make sure he was OK. of course he was, he didn't cry at all! I loved when we got back how happy he was to see me! I missed him so much and I was only gone a couple hours! It was nice though to spend some time with my man! We got some tea at Sbux, and ran some errands at a couple of stores. not a fancy date, but a date for sure! we soaked up the "us" time! I loved it!

We also tried cloth diapers for the first time! It seemed like it was much comfier for Owen with all that squish surrounding his rear! but I will say it was pretty sick to clean up after he exploded in it... eeek. Look at how good he holds his noggin up! he is just growing and turning into a little man!

Jeff got a care package from his friends at his old job in WA. It was so nice of them to send some awesome goodies for us! Owen got his UW hat, and daddy got a matching one, along with some other goodies!! Jeff loved his job up in WA and really misses all of his friends that he made. We definitely want to go to Seattle to visit!! We do miss it.

 We cruised the neighborhood on a little walk. Our carseat buckles into the stroller, but O hates being in the carseat so I just put him in the stroller. He looks super tiny in it, but totally loves it! I think he loves being outside. He loves to look around and feel the fresh air! I think Owen is going to be just like his daddy!

We celebrated Grandpa's birthday too! We got him an awesome Angels flag to fly outside of his house! Owen loves seeing grandpa and watching baseball with him! Grandpa is going to teach him spanish, and we are going to have a bilingual child! :) powder white spanish speaking kid. i love it!

I didn't take any pictures but we also went down to San Onofre to help Dave out with Summer Camp for the day. Jeff went out with the kiddos to help them learn to surf, and I helped Jen and Wendy make a zillion Turkey Wraps for lunch :) It was so fun to help out with the youth kiddos again! We had a lot of fun. We all went home sun burnt. Even O got a little burn. I felt so sorry for him, he was in the shade of the umbrella the entire day but still managed to get a little pink under the eyes and nose. SAD. I felt like the worlds worst mom. But it is already looking better!!
