July Adventures

A little update on the Hill's life!  We have had a busy July!! And now I can't believe it is almost over and we are heading into August! shheeeeshhh...
We had an awesome 4th, we went to the Independence Festival with my mom. We walked around and checked out all sorts of vendors, at some funnel cake (yum.) and people watched. We left before the fire works because it got a little too chilly for my little dude who had just gotten over a cold.

On the actual day of the 4th of July we went to a baseball game! It was super fun. and it was Owen's very first game! He did pretty good! considering the game went on FOREVER...It was really loud, making it hard for him to fall asleep :( but. he finally did, during the fire works... I know weird right?

Owen L.O.V.E.S his Aunt Wexy :) She works with babies every day so she always can get O to go to sleep, she is seriously the baby whisperer.

Look at how big this guy is! He got his first round of shots this week, he did great! He is in the 90th percentile for his weight, coming in at a whopping 14 pounds! He loves to eat.

Owen also took his first trip to the beach! He slept a lot under this crazy shade thing that our friend Jen has. We kept him clear from the sun, except for a couple minutes to take this picture :)
Jeff loves the ocean, and we hope that all of our children will love it too!

Owen got to meet his Jenni Boo! He loved her, and loved the delicious sandwich that she made, which he slurped up later ;)
We love Jen and we were so happy that we could finally make it down for a visit! we can't wait to see her again soon!

Owen is starting to discover different things. The other day I laid him down in his cradle and was getting something when I heard the sound of music coming from one of his toys after he punched at it. He just laid there looking at it kicking his legs all around. Seriously, adorable.

He is cooing and making all sorts of noises too! I love just sitting with him and talking about life. He looks at me so intently just talking away, with these expressions on his face like he understands what I am saying. I love it!

Being at home with my baby is the absolute BEST! I love being a mommy, it is the greatest blessing and joy in the whole world. God knew what he was doing when he created the gift of motherhood. it is wonderful.

We are looking forward to the Davie Family moving closer again too! Owen can't wait to meet little Ransom, his first friend!

Life is full and we are blessed, just soaking it up and enjoying each day the Lord gives us.
