My goodness I cannot believe my little boy went to get his one month pictures already! Well he is actually 6 weeks and 2 days old... but still! He is getting so big, this morning when we woke up, I looked over at him and there he was doing his normal morning routine, pushing out a poop, but his big blue eyes and his poopy smile were going and it was just the cutest thing EVER! He looked bigger to me this morning. He is getting so chunky, probably due to the fact that he pretty much eats ALL day! :) That's my big boy!
We love every day with our Owen, he is the most precious, special boy. I feel so honored and blessed that God picked me to be his mommy! It is really the best job ever, way better than getting a degree! ;)
Things are settling in more and more every day, I am starting to know what to expect with Owen. I am learning more about him daily. I know what he looks like when he is tired, I know his whiny cry, I know his fussy cry,I know his gassy cry, and I know his "I'm pissed" cry. That one only happens in the carseat! eh.
He is smiling so much now! He loves his daddy, and his daddy can make him smile the most! He even gives us a coo here and there! Morning diaper time is my favorite, just playing in bed and looking at my chunky baby!
The other day he was playing under his little gym, and he loves tummy time, well, he was trying so hard to get his legs up under himself he was kicking and kicking and pushing up with his arms, he rolled right over on to his back! I was like, NO WAY! I think it kind of startled him that he did that because his eyes got real big and he just looked at me a bit confused... I'm pretty sure it was just an accidental roll, I don't think babies usually roll at 6 weeks, but hey... you never know maybe he is just genius! :)
We are working on getting into our own place and it should be sooner than later, hopefully! I cant wait! I need my own nest :)
Jeff is working hard every day, and we are so thankful to have a daddy who takes care of us and provides! We LOVE him!
Owen really is getting big! He is the sweetest little guy in all the world (even if I am his Great Grandma)!! Thanks for the pictures they are the best. You and Jeff are doing a great job with Owen. Remember to keep God FIRST in your lives and all else will fall into place. I love all three of you :)
