Winter!

Here I am at 18 weeks of cooking!  I can't believe the half way mark is just around the corner!!  I love feeling my little baby bump, nudge and move around!  I can't wait until it is strong enough for Jeff to feel!  The other day I was drinking an Izzy and every drink I took a few seconds later the baby would move, it was the best Izzy drinking experience EVER!  So amongst all of the crazy things that have been happening to us moldy house, there have been some really great things! I turned 23 last week and that was wonderful!

I got to head out to downtown Bellevue with some friends on Wednesday night for some yummy dinner!

We stuffed ourselves silly with delicious food and scrumptious cheesecake! Then we enjoyed some festive fun at Bellevue's "Snowflake Lane"... a dreamy Christmas parade they have with snow!  I will really miss these girls when we move, I really didn't expect to make friends while we were here, yet alone friends that I would shed a tear for when we leave. :(  Thank you Vicki, Lisa, Tera, Jessica, Michelle, Lydia, and Elizabeth for making my birthday special!! I will miss you all SO much!

Then, my wonderful husband took me out for a delicious birthday dinner at P.F. Changs!  I love this place it is one of my favorites!  We got an awesome table, stuffed ourselves with delicious food and finished with banana sprigroll!

Downtown Seattle is full of pretty lights and Christmas festivities, after dinner we walked off the calories checking out all of the Christmas cheer!  It was a lovely evening and even more lovely because I got to spend another birthday with my best friend!  Love you Jeff!

We also got our Christmas tree!  It is actually mine and Jeff's very fist Christmas tree in 3 years!! It was so fun picking it out, loading it up and bringing it home!

We decorated it with lots of sparkling Christmas ornaments! I never thought I would come to a place in my life where I actually like buying Christmas ornaments! I LOVE it!

Our house is all Christmas-y and it is wonderful!

And here is our cozy Christmas dog, cuddled up on his bed by the fire! After we finished decorating our tree and our house we snuggled up with some cocoa! YUM!

I love Christmas time, it is so magical and full of love remembering Jesus' birth and the amazing gift that God has given us! Jeff and I have so much to be thankful for! I can't believe next year we will be holding our baby taking pictures by our next Christmas tree!

On a side note... Jeff got to go duck hunting! He doesn't know anyone who is into hunting, so when he got invited to go by some people at work he was so excited!  I got this shot of him with all of his gear on!! I LOVE it!!  Go get em' honey!!
