I am now in my Third Trimester!! I am so excited because this just means that I am a little bit closer to meeting my Owen!! I really cannot WAIT!! He is getting so big, I know I say that every time, but really!! He still kicks me all of the time, but his movements are more like shifting or turning, like he is running out of room to do his karate moves!
I had my first doctor's appointment this past Thursday with my new doctor who will be seeing me the remainder of my pregnancy. He was awesome!! I am so glad that it went well, I had heard a lot of really good things about him, so I was really looking forward to having those things confirmed, and they definitely were! The office is close, the nurses are so wonderful, and the front desk ladies are sweet as pie!! I loved sitting in the waiting room too with all of the other preggo ladies just talking about being pregnant and hearing stories, so FUN! The doctor checked me out, and then I got to take a peak at Owen, his head was down and his legs were all curled up by my belly button! His femur was measured and I am right on track with how far along I am. His heart was pumping strong and he looked great! I have now had all of the tests that I need up until 36 weeks when you get a standard test for Group B Strep. He said everything looks good and he didn't say anything about the weight I have gained, so far it is 23 pounds, never been preggo so not sure but I think that sounds OK?? Right? average weight gain in the third trimester is around 11 pounds... 35ish pounds. eh whatever!! I will just be meeting with her daily once Owen arrives...
I just cannot wait to meet my little guy, and with new babies arriving left and right it just makes me that much more excited to see our little nugget! I went and visited my beautiful cousin yesterday! I got to spend some time with Ely, he is so precious! I held him and he had his eyes open wide just looking around and exploring his new little world! Sarah looks fabulous too! It has been two weeks and she is already in her pre pregnancy jeans!! Go MAMA!!! Ah the perks of breast feeding, don't know why you wouldn't do it?
But seriously look at how sweet this little boy is...

I just cannot wait to meet my little guy, and with new babies arriving left and right it just makes me that much more excited to see our little nugget! I went and visited my beautiful cousin yesterday! I got to spend some time with Ely, he is so precious! The Bravenecs welcomed their little Sunday into the world too this past week and boy oh boy is she a cutie too!! This is definitely one stinky thing about not living in Seattle anymore, we don't get to go see her :( So I definitely love seeing all of the pictures. I am so glad that she is doing well since she decided to come a bit early and that her gorgeous mama is doing well too!
But seriously look at all of these babies!!! I just cannot wait to see mine!!
I am especially excited because in March my very dear friend Elisha is coming to town!! Not only am I super excited to see her and have some baby hang out time at flour fusion but I get to go with her so we can both get 3-D Ultrasounds of our sons!! Ransom and Owen are going to be friends!! I can't wait to peak at him all high tech and such!
I was over at my mom's house helping make the invitations for our baby shower in April, they are SO cute!! my mom is such a crafty lady and she is the BEST at throwing parties! Our shower is cowboy themed and the invitations are boots!! oh goodness I can't wait it is going to be awesome! Jeff and I finished our registry at Target and Babies R Us, and we cant wait to start getting stuff for Owen! I got a cradle for him already and am eager to get the bedding to get it all ready for him, but really we need to just wait to see what we get gifted with at our shower!
Right now we are staying two weeks at some friends house, house sitting and taking care of their little pups while they are on their honeymoon! It is nice to have some time for just Jeff and I, we have been so grateful to be able to stay with Jeff's parents but are really enjoying having some time to ourselves :) So for now we are hanging with this guy...
