life in CA



23 Weeks pregnant as of tomorrow! YAY!

Life has been going here in CA since we arrived just over a week ago!  We have spent our first week back hanging out with family, seeing our friends, and of course spending some much needed time soaking up some vitamin D! It has been so nice being able to see all of our friends.

We had a nice dinner with a bunch of Jeff's friends from his fire days, I hadn't really had the chance to get to know any of them, and they are actually all SO nice and so welcoming! We spent some time hanging out with the siblings, which has been nothing but PURE fun! I seriously get a full stomach work out anytime I am around my sisters, they are just so funny!

I got to spend a day wedding shopping with Debbie and Jolene, it was such a fun day!  We picked out all sorts of things for Jolene's wedding which is just around the corner in March! She is going to make such a beautiful bride, I am so happy I am here to help with wedding stuff. Right now I am working on making her a card box for the gift table.. something like this...

Only imagine it in silver and purple (her colors :)  I am also helping Debbie plan her bridal shower which has been so fun coming up with different ideas! ahhh, I love weddings!

Jeff and I have been on the job hunt for him, every day we apply to all sorts of places, taking in applications and picking them up! We are hoping he is able to get his job back at ACE, so we are waiting to find out... fingers crossed, prayers please.

Job hunting is stressful!  And we had the same stress in Seattle when we first moved there, we got so impatient the first week because neither of us had gotten a job! We have to remember it takes time.

One thing I HATE is how everything is apply online! How are they ever supposed to get a first impression or put a face to a name if you just get lost in cyber space??!!? errrrr.

We still have to make our rounds of people we cant wait to see... JENNI BOO!!! I feel an In-N-Out burger extravaganza coming on sooooon! :)

Jeff is looking into fire fighting again, we have been talking about it and really just praying for direction. We are lucky and blessed enough that his parents will let us stay here if Jeff wants to go back to school to get his EMT. We are looking into classes again, and possibly volunteering once more, round two?

Just keep us in your prayers, that we could find some work and that God would guide and direct us for future career opportunities!

This post is totally all over the place, but the other day Jeff got to feel Owen kick for the first time! It was absolutely amazing!  He felt him twice on his hand and they he laid this face down on my belly and Owen kicked him right in the cheek!

Ah!! I love our little boy so much! He is getting so big, grandmas have felt him, sisters, and it is so wonderful to be able to share that!

I definitely feel like I am getting bigger too, my stomach has been feeling sore, like I worked out or something, I am thinking it is just from growing?? My back kills me if I stand too long, and I really need to just break down and invest in some super ugly/comfy shoes.  Fashion, maybe it is time you take a back seat?

Anywhoo... back to the job hunt, in my pj's, with my messy hair/ no makeup morning glory look!
