sundays.

"All Day" sickness has kept me couped up these days... I have spent this entire weekend pretty much on the couch.  I have been showering, make up and fixing my hair for my hubby, just so he knows that I haven't been sucked into the bloated, tore up pregnancy oblivion.  On the couch though, that is where I have been. Yesterday, and today!  I have been renting season 6 episodes of House, so that has been entertaining, sometimes I really miss cable! It is grey outside, I hear it is going to be staying like that for the next 8 months... I like grey but we will see how it goes for a whole 8 MONTHS!  I will say when the sun comes out it is pretty majestic, gorgeous, beautiful. 
Pumpkin muffins have been on the agenda for the day... This weekend I finally went grocery shopping, it had been 3 weeks...eeeek, I know :/  Last year me and one of my bestest friends ever spent pretty much a good chunk of fall baking these little bits of deliciousness... I don't know what that Joe does to make this mix so delicious, but really I just pulled a batch out of the oven and sprayed some zero calorie butter spray on it... good lord almighty I went straight to heaven.  I'm pretty sure these muffins are going to be served in heaven, daily.  There is nothing like a day of quiet time. Baking. a fire going. soft relaxing music. ahhhh soothes the preganancy bug! Jeff is out on a man day today.  When his parents visited a few months ago they introduced us to Debbie's cousins, who would be Jeff's second cousins?? something like that, anywhooo they are family.  Jeff is out eating BBQ and shooting guns with the men! I'm glad he was able to get out and do that. He has been so wonderful with me being all sick and such.  Brag session: Last night, he took the dog for a walk, and picked up the poo that I always never pick up outside.... and while he was out on his walk he picked up some cookie dough ice cream! mmmm so good! and a movie for us to snuggle up to!  Then this morning while I was getting ready, I looked into our room, since you can see it from the bathroom, and he was making the bed, then all of a sudden I heard the vacuum start up and he vacuumed the house, then we went up to sbux to get some breakfast and coffee, and stopped off at the grocery store to get quarters for laundry and he came out with peanut butter cups! (goodness i just made myself sound like a fatty!) He is just wonderful!  He appreciates me so much and lets me know all of the time, I am truly truly blessed to be his wife!
I can't wait to go to the doctor in 3 weeks, I just can't wait to see my little kidney bean! Yup it's 7 weeks old today, a kidney bean in size!
Two funny stories before I go and retrieve the laundry that is calling my name from the dryer:
1. a coworker said to me the other day, Katy, I hope you aren't planning on keeping your news a secret because you are starting to show! ugh... I don't think you should be able to tell I am pregnant, unless it's twins?? Bless her heart I am just fat!
2. the same day a student said, Mrs. Hill are you going to have a baby because normally you are much skinnier then this!  Ugghhhh... too much ice cream and peanut butter cups!
