Mom and Sisters Adventure Time!

My mom and sisters visit was wonderful and just what I needed!!! We had so much fun, hanging out, eating, experiencing the city, and laughing until it hurts! I love them so much and was so happy that I got to see them!

One of the first stops we made was Cafe Fiore!  They got to taste some real yummy Seattle coffe!  My mom really loved it, I think it was her favorite place of all the places we tried!  Let me tell you it was the best thing ever picking them up from the airpport, I left so early because I was so excited!! Seeing Lex come down the stair was so fun!! I LOVED it, I wish they were coming back tomorrow! We showed them around all of the places we think are pretty rad... Like, Gasworks Park, where took a zillion pictures and admired the view!  The Troll, where we all couldn't get over how someone carved that thing out of stone and the real VW Bug that is in it!  The city view up on top of Queen Anne, where again it was photo sesh time!! Love these girls!! Mis them so much!We went and checked out the Ballard Locks, I was bummed that there were NO Salmon to look at, but it is quite beautiful!! We watched the boats, and admired all of the pretty flowers! Then we went to the Lock Spot Cafe for some delicious lunch! I had a garden burger that was amazing, and mom said the Fish N Chips were pretty spectacular! On Saturday we woke up, hopped on a bus and went downtown to Pike Place Market! Our first stop, as always, is the little donut shop! Jeff LOVES these things and can eat a whole bag to himself!! The girls like them too. We strolled through the market, checked out all of the ENOURMOUS sea food, the gorgeous flowers, the neat trinkets and all of the interesting people.  We peeked in at the original Sbux too!We showed them the Gum Wall and then headed down to Alaskian Way for a walk on the water.  This was actually the only day with good weather! We went to the Crab Pot where my mom got to indulge in some yummy Clam Chowder, I had a bit and it actually wasn't that bad!! She said it was definitely top of the list for yummy chowder! After the market everyone crashed on the couch and floor! :) We let Jeff have some peace and quiet and us girls went up to Bustle for a coffee, then took magazines, knitting, a blanket, books and the camera down to the canal to relax! It was probably my favorite part of the trip, just hangin with my favorite girls, drinking good coffee, laughing and enjoying the weather!! Pretty perfect. We went home, got dressed, grabbed our friends and headed out for to celebrate Lexy's 20th birthday!! (I cant believe she is 20!!) We took her up to Capitol Hill to Six Arms! We ate laughed and had a great time, after we went to Molly Moons for DELICOUS ice cream... They got to expirence some good ol Cap, there was tons of drag queens, crazy people and to top it off a bum fight in the middle of the intersection, all in all a pretty typical night on the Cap... On Sunday we started the morning off right with some Top Pot, SOO yummy best donuts ever! Then we headed to church! After church we went up to the top of Queen Anne to walk around and check out the shops, we tried Wink Cupcakes, and they were pretty good! After that we went to our favorite happy hour spot, Azteca with our friends the Bravs!  It was so fun! We ate and enjoyed the afternoon!! mmmm!! Once we got home, I made a cake for Lexy's brithday and we watched movies!  It was our last night together... :( in the morning we took them to the airport to say our goodbyes, it was so sad! I really miss them!!

It was a wonderful trip, I am so thankful they were able to come, I had such a good time! I really miss them, and miss being closer to family, when you have such a great family, it is pretty hard to be far away. My mom was wonderful, she totally blessed us with tons of gifts!! Thanks mom!! I cant wait for them to come and visit again!!!
